We took a pretty amazing trip to Hana last week. A handful of active Maui social media influencers, of whom expressed interest in a trip to Hana, were invited to travel aboard Road to Hana Tours to visit some of the best spots along the Road to Hana. We visited some spots that weren’t on the regular tour in order to share some of the locations we’ve come to love over the last few months.
We began our trip by going to the Maui Lani Golf Course for a quick breakfast and some coffee. The view was spectacular, and it made for a great way to start the day. Then 13 of us made our way to Hana!
We made an unusual stop at Wailele Farm, at Twin Falls. I really wanted the crew to see what they do at the farm and to help them understand the efforts they put into keeping the area free to the public by maintaining trails and supporting portapotties and parking.
We then hit the many amazing sites along the Road to Hana including:
- Kaumahina State Wayside Park
- Ke’anae Peninsula
- Upper Waikani Falls
- Wai’anapanapa State Park
- Hana Town
- Wailua Falls
- Seven Sacred Pools (‘Ohe’o Gulch)
- Palapala Ho’omau Church
We also stopped at Travaasa Resort for a tour of the property and spa as well as a delicious meal at Ka’uiki Restaurant.
It was an incredible trip! You can learn more about the trip by following the hashtag #HanaTrip on Twitter or Instagram and you can visit Hana Trip for more about the group and the results from our trip.

You took some great pictures and really captured the feel for the day! Makes me want to go back again soon. And I like the Twin Falls video too!
