A Royal Affair – My Experience at the Royal Lahaina Luau in West Maui
If you’re looking for a royal experience fit for a king or queen, look no further than the Royal Lahaina Luau in West Maui. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be treated like royalty. Upon check-in, you’ll receive a complimentary lei before being whisked away to your table overlooking the stage. Sit back, relax, and sip on a refreshing Mai Tai as you take in the stunning sunset views.
As the sun sets, the show will begin. The luau features traditional Polynesian dancers telling the story of Hawaii and Polynesia through music and dance. You’ll be captivated by their graceful movements and mesmerized by the flaming fire Knife Dance finale. And of course, no luau would be complete without a delicious Hawaiian feast. The buffet includes Kalua pig, poi, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, Haupia (coconut pudding), and more.
After dinner, there’s still more fun to be had! Stick around for live music and dancing or head over to the stage to capture memories with the dancers from your Royal Lahaina Luau experience.
If you’re looking for an authentic island experience, attending a luau is a must-do while visiting Maui. I had a wonderful time at the Royal Lahaina Luau and would highly recommend it (or any other luau!) to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening full of good food, good company, and beautiful views. Aloha!
